With Carmen, Trudon extends the legacy of the iconic Ernesto candle into a more intimate, skin-focused expression. Carmen is not conceived as a literal olfactory replica, instead a new interpretation that preserves the spirit while embracing a more sensual and refined expression.

Tobacco — the cornerstone of the original composition — gains depth and nobility, illuminated by a subtle touch of rum. Leather is refined, revealing a more tactile, sensual texture. Woods and resins bring structure without heaviness, while ambroxan and an exceptionally pure patchouli introduce a modern scent.  The fragrance evolves gracefully on the skin, revealing multiple facets over time.

Carmen fully embodies the DNA of Trudon’s haute parfumerie. It reflects the House’s devotion to noble raw materials, deep woody and resinous accords, and bold olfactory statements. A fragrance of character, where complexity arises from precision, texture and evolution on the skin.

The Perfume expresses a contemporary, demanding and singular vision, true to the spirit of Trudon. Created by perfumer Émilie Bouge, Carmen is offered as a Parfum at 15% concentration. This level of intensity allows the raw materials to unfold with fullness and precision, revealing depth, texture and nuance, while delivering remarkable longevity and sillage.

Trained at ISIPCA, she has developed a strong affinity for natural raw materials, essential to the authenticity of her creations. Her experience in Asia has given her a particular sensitivity to oriental accords. For Maison Trudon, she has crafted several iconic fragrances, including Ernesto, Cyrnos, Cire, Tuileries, and the Les Belles Matières collection. Vixi, her first eau de parfum for Trudon, is followed by Mystique and Midnight Omen in the Nuit Rouge collection.

The perfume bottle

The 100ml perfume bottle resembles the design of Trudon’s scented candles. Created by Pauline Deltour, the rippled-glass cap evokes the elegant silhouette of La Promeneuse. In a pine-green hue, the top counterbalances the transparent bottle.
