An air of Constantinople in Paris. Ottoman wealth travels to Paris where art historian and Turkish creative director Serdar Gülgün unveils a collection of stands and covers. While enhancing Trudon’s perfumed elegance, the decorative pieces blend heritage and contemporary know-how. Embellished with symbols, each object creates a narrative between the ancient Byzantine capital and French History. Hand made in century old ateliers, each piece will gain a natural patina, casting light on a secular art de vivre. The turtles remain the sultans’ favorite. Back in the days, the sultans would place candles on their back: at night, the turtles would slowly wander through the tulip gardens, illuminating the flowers inside the revered walls of Topkapi Palace.
