Proud of its history, Trudon brings three emblematic and highly praised scents back into the spotlight, celebrating their unique characters: Carmélite, Empire, and Spella. Together, they form the collection Les Exclusives, available only in Trudon boutiques and online.

With their refined and distinctive fragrances, these three scented candles revive the great classics of Maison Trudon, and invite to indulge in the noble accords of Haute Parfumerie.

Carmélite, a woody fragrance with religious roots, evokes the scent of mossy walls in the shadow of an ancient cloister; Empire, a revolutionary aromatic and smoky blend, conjures up the fiery essence of a woodland where pine, sage, bay leaf, and hay infuse the air of a Napoleonic encampment; Spella, a woody musk, is a warm blend of amber with magic and good fortune.

These three iconic scented candles are adorned with an exclusive vessel, hand-finished with gold leaf, inviting to a true sensory and dreamlike journey through the ages.

A woody oriental perfume, Spella is a warm amber concentrate: woody and musky notes combined with touches of rose and geranium reveal amber’s many facets. With a hint of magic, the Spella scented candle invites good fortune: a lucky Chinese cat, solar star, protective umbrella and clover are lucky charms at play!

Candle Anatomy

The wax formulas of the Trudon candles are the fruit of specific developments which are the source of its exceptional olfactory and burning qualities. When correctly taken care of, no smoke leaves a Trudon candle and no wax is left on the sides of the glass.
The wicks are made of cotton. One can find many types of wicks, characterized by their weaving and their diameter. The wicks are chosen depending on the shape and size of the glasses, as well as the burning characteristics of each candle.
Our emblem is inspired by a bas relief found at the old Royal Wax Manufacture which used to belong to the Trudon family. Situated in Antony, near Paris, it now belongs to the Church. Nowadays the domain hosts the nuns of the Saint-Joseph de Cluny congregation.
Each glass is unique and hand-crafted in Tuscany. Their shape is inspired by champagne buckets.
