Mortel Noir
Add to Wish ListBlack pepper, Frankincense and Pure Cistus
Intense and spicy.
Combining a virile force with natural harmonies, Mortel Noir suggests skins heating up against one another: the strength of black pepper from Madagascar blended with incense from Somalia, myrrh and benzoin reveal the erotic spell of pure Cistus.
In a dark attire, Mortel Noir impresses with its matte black bottle and cap: on the label, the sole name of the perfume shines in gold letters.
Equally adorned in hot gold, a drawing by Bastien Coulon runs on the outside of the ink-black box: it features an artist as a mortal creative figure plunging into the abyss.

created by Yann Vasnier
A graduate of the ISIPCA Perfumery School in Versailles, Vasnier joined Quest (now Givaudan) in Paris in 1996. He believed perfumery to be the great adventure of his life, an adventure that began in the Brittany gardens of his youth. His brother, a lover of aromatic plants, first opened the way to perfumery, to which he turned after first studying art, chemistry and mathematics. Proud of his double artistic and analytic approach, Vasnier works side-by-side with fashion designers and artists. His olfactory stamp, like theirs, has many sides.

The perfume bottle
The 100ml perfume bottle resembles the design of Trudon’s scented candles. Created by Pauline Deltour, the rippled-glass cap evokes the elegant silhouette of La Promeneuse. In a pine-green hue, the top counterbalances the transparent bottle, inspired by blocks of crystal.
