Rose poivrée and Positano… Two candles with emblatic fragrances created in the spirit of Giambattista Valli’s unique atmosphere, and born of the meeting between the designer and Cire Trudon. Aesthete at the heart, this Italian born in Rome has always found in Cire Trudon the scents that inspire him on a daily basis. What then would be more natural to for this designer in love with precious materials and delicate volumes to create his own signature scents ?
The first, Rose Poivrée, launched in 2010 for the opening of the first Giambattista Valli Parisian store is full of the perfume of a fresh and luscious bouquet of roses. A touch of Tuscan black pepper sublimes and highlights the fragrances giving way to contrasted harmonies, a combination of the flowers close to Marie-Antoinette’s heart and of the spicy and seductive charm of Italy.
As for Positano, everything in it is a reminder of the singular and breathtaking beauty of the little village bathed in light, perched on the Amalfi coast. In the shadow of Italian lemon trees, white flowers blossom : Gardenias, orange blossom, jasmin, magnolias, tuberose and lilies all intertwine in a radiant melody that the wind would carry away.
