Bougies sous cloche

Bougies sous cloche

Aesthetical and functional, during the 19th century, glass bells were a common feature in many French households. Young brides used to keep in them the flower crown that had adorned their hair on their wedding day. They would then add souvenirs and small objects such as bits of lozenge shaped mirror that would represent the number of children they desired.

Cire Trudon has reused this age-old and traditional object making it a central decoration element in its stores. Under the transparent glass of the bells, the Maison’s candles are made even more attractive but without any grandiosity.

You can now treat yourself to a Cloche in the Parisian Trudon store located 78 rue de Seine in the 6th arrondissement.

La Cloche, with its black wooden base costs 75 euros.
